MAXATAWNY, PA - This week, the "CarQuest Gasoline Alley Gang" looks ahead, once again, to another mighty interesting program, this Monday night, September 11. A bunch of extremely interesting guests will be on hand as part of an outstanding program on Monday evening.

Looking ahead to that upcoming program, CarQuest Gasoline Alley will begin the evening with Nex-Gen Motorsports leader Charlie Patterson, who will give the fans updates, regarding the many, multi-talented and very young racers in his camp, these days. Charlie will discuss the moves his drivers have made this season and racing nationally. Charlie will talk also about his future plans in the sport, as we look down the road. It'll be an interesting and a very informative interview, Monday night.

In addition, Jason Mc Cord from the Premier Racing Association will visit the program and bring to light his all-new racing organization, with the next race scheduled on September 13 at IRP. Jason, also, will discuss the future of that all-new racing series.

Current DIRT modified throttle-jockey and Super DIRT Modified Series trail chauffeur Jimmy Phelps will visit the show, once more, fresh off his exciting first win on the Super DIRT Modified Series trail at Brewerton aboard a DIRT modified ride, plus Jimmy will talk about his first-ever top 5 finish at the Lebanon Valley Speedway in the annual Coors 200 big block modified race there last Saturday night. Phelps will talk about his biggest career victory, his career in general and a lot about his season, to date, plus what is up for Jimmy, over the rest of the 2006 racing season aboard that all-new 2007 Troyer chassied No. 98H ride.

Next up, there's young Brad Kuhns, who's the newly-crowned Badger Midget Racing Association champion. Kuhns will discuss his various series he has raced on this year and talk about his championship, as well. Kuhns will talk about his career to date, his future plans, his season so far and also discuss all of the various national midget tours, these days.

Former Orange County Fair Speedway chauffeur and, now, a weekly top gun at Accord, "Jumpin' Johnny" McGill will visit for his first time, fresh off his first win aboard a 358 modified ride in his 21-year career and first-ever at Accord last Friday night. McGill will talk about his biggest career victory, his career and a lot about his season to date, plus what is up for John the rest of the 2006 racing season.

Lasoski will talk about his feature wins, his season on tour as part of the new traveling group and the future of the NST, as we look down the road. Former Silver Spring Speedway super sportsman standout and now a 358 sprint car first-year chauffeur in the Zane and Vicki Highlands No. 3 machine, this season, 27-year-old Pat Cannon took home $4,000 Friday night at the Williams Grove Speedway, winning the Shot Drop/Bars Leak Nationals over a large field of 358 cars and the United Racing Club 360 sprint cars, both. Cannon will talk about his biggest career victory and a lot about his season to date, plus what is up for Pat the rest of the 2006 racing season.

Next up, there's the very busy Peter Raskovic, a crew member for racing great A.J. Foyt. Peter will talk about a new program he has developed with ABC Supply owner Ken Hendricks that's known as "Urban Force Racing," which is a program that will assist at risk high school students studying auto mechanics that can soon graduate and parlay that into a motorsports career.

Looking ahead to that upcoming program, CarQuest Gasoline Alley will begin the evening with veteran Bob Santos. Santos is fresh off a $50,000 weekend payoff at Stafford Springs Speedway. Bobby scored a feature victory in the NEMA midgets main and accepted the CarQuest Challenge to start at the rear and try to win from there. Santos did just that and went on to the big win and took home a sack full of green, as a result.

Writer and book publisher Lew Boyd will also visit the CarQuest Gasoline Alley program this Monday night , talking about the all-new Paved Track Dirt Track book he just published. The book was released on August 15 and Lew will share the making of that great publication, plus other books he'll be a part of along with numerous other other subjects.

This week, the “Gasoline Alley Gang” will play host to Thunder on the Hill promoter Bob Miller, as the July19th Super DIRT Series 100-lap "Traffic Jam" is just around the corner for the Grandview Speedway. Bob will talk about the event, past and present, as well as this past weekend's URC/USCS Shootout in the Carolinas.

Some of the weekend's big winners will join the “Gang,” as well.

The "Rowley Rocket," Chris Perley, returns to the show to talk about his Twin-Thirties sweep of the weekend's action in Jennerstown, in ISMA racing action.

A return to the show by “The Handler," Doug Manmiller, to talk about his convincing win at the Grandview Speedway on Saturday night, plus his racing at both Big Diamond and Grandview throughout the ’06 season.

MAXATAWNY, PA - This week, the "CarQuest Gasoline Alley Gang" looks to turn the clock back, with former Reading Fairgrounds big block modified standout Russell "Red" Coffin "live" in the studio to talk about days gone by at the old Nazareth half-mile raceway, in addition to his thoughts about Hatfield, Flemington and Reading and what it was like back in those old glory days, when the "Redhead" raced those tracks. Billy Wease, fresh off a 100-lap USAC midget win just last week in Stockton, CA., will also join the "CarQuest Gang" to discuss his sudden fame, as the 19-year-old racer also talks about the learning curve as a Penske South development driver, in 2006.

Finally, second-generation sportsman division Accord regular, Danny Creeden, will join the team to offer a thought or two on his exciting last-lap pass to pull off a victory there just this past Friday night. Danny also talks a little about racing his own No. 16 car weekly at Orange County, this summer.

Carquest Gasoline Alley at the 21st Annual Reading Racers Reunion Show with a "Live Remote" February 27th

EASTON, PA - The highly successful Carquest Gasoline Alley Racing program will take center stage at the Fairgrounds Square Mall on Monday night, February 27, with a special “live remote” show from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. in conjunction with the 21st Annual Reading Racers Reunion and Race Car Mall Show. Come out and join “The Gang,” Ed and Steve Pados, longtime Area Auto Racing News weekly columnist Randy Kane and big block modified race driver Bruce Kline, as they talk racing, present all sorts of racing trivia and conduct numerous interviews with many of the racing greats from the Reading Fairgrounds. Many of the new faces in racing, in addition, will be well represented, with current stars displaying their 2006 race cars at the show.

"No Baloney" as Lebanon Based Racers Headline Carquest Gasoline Alley February 20
Carquest Gasoline Alley and Straight Line Fever On WALN Cable FM
Monday night, February 20, from 6 to 9 P.M.


Lebanon, Pennsylvania, long has been established as an area where tons of great bologna of that same name has been made. It’s no baloney, though, that the central Pennsylvania based city has also been home of some outstanding racing talents, through the years, and it continues with that rich legacy still today.
The “Gasoline Alley Gang,” this week, will chat with four such racers, who’ll be featured on this week's edition of the program.
Second-generation chauffeur, Bobby Gerhart Jr., fresh off a fourth career ARCA Daytona win, headlines the action.
Former Syracuse Super DIRT Week race winner and a current Silver Crown star, Richie Tobias Jr., also will be on the show to discuss his racing career, as well as the famous Tobias family history in the sport.
Current late model driver and race car builder, Jimmy Bernheisel will also talk about his racing efforts and the Lazer chassis, which he builds and races with.
To cap off the show, we’ll chat with the very popular former Reading Fairgrounds big block modified driving standout, “The Lebanon Leadfoot,” Bobby Hauer, who’ll talk about his days behind the wheel of that famous ORA number 9 big block modified.

It's A New York State of Mind February 13 on Carquest Gasoline Alley
Carquest Gasoline Alley and Straight Line Fever On WALN Cable FM
Monday night, February 13, from 6 to 9 P.M.

It is a New York state of mind, this Monday night, as the “Gasoline Alley Gang” heads north to the “Hard Clay” of the Orange County Fair Speedway to chat with four of the big block campaigners at that facility.
Second-generation racing veteran Gary Edwards Jr., who’s coming off one of his best years to date, will kick off the interviews, talking about his plans for 2006.
Following is a crafty veteran of many years and, certainly, a fan-favorite, Bill Wilson, who is still winning races in a great career behind the wheel at the famous five-eighth-mile oval.
From there, we’ll hook-up with “Hollywood,” seasoned big block and small block modified chauffeur, Craig Mitchell, who will be in Daytona for the 500, but we’ll chat with him regarding many different topics, now that DIRT Motorsports has regained control at the raceway.
We’ll wave the checkered with an interview with top-running youngster, “The Panic,” second-generation pilot, Davey Franek, as we talk about his upcoming rookie year at OCFS, as well as the bright future he has carved out in the sprint cars.
