VP RACING FUELS WILL BE AN IMPORTANT PART OF MOTORSPORTS 2008 SHOW IN ATLANTIC CITY

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ June 15, 2007 . . . The philosophy of VP Racing Fuels is simple; make more power than the other guys and the wins and the championships will follow. It has been that way for more than 30 years in all forms of motorsports. Operating from their regional sales and distribution facility in Newark, Delaware, VP returns for the their third year as sponsor of Motorsports 2008, the 23rd annual mid-winter motorsports extravaganza scheduled for January 18th thru 20th at the plush Atlantic City Convention Center.
“We like to think that VP has gotten involved with our show because we also have a winning philosophy,” said show organizer Len Sammons. “Each year we have made improvements, grown in size, encompass all segments of the sport. We continue to take steps that we feel make the Motorsports 2008 presented by VP Racing Fuels show a winner.”
VP works directly with racers at the track and on their dynos. It’s how they started and continues to be their M.O. these days, with most of their R&D accomplished in this manner.
Again at Motorsports 2008 VP will have a huge display in place and many of their key people will be at the show to answer questions and talk about the many products they offer.
VP offers more than 60 blends of racing fuels along with both synthetic and specialty oils, a variety of chemicals (coolants and fuel additives) plus accessories. Check out their website at www.vpracingfuels.com
Results speak for themselves when it comes to VP. It has now been 31 years since another fuel company has won an NHRA Pro Stock Championship and several years since another fuel company has even finished on the podium for an AMA Championship.
At Motorsports 2008 Bubba Clem, best known as SIRIUS satellite radio’s “Bubba The Love Sponge”® will appear for two of the three show days. The outrageous radio program, hosted by Bubba, is heard daily on SIRIUS’ Howard Stern channel Howard 101 and around the world via the internet. Clem, who drives the Miller Lite 101 VP-fueled dirt late model at East Bay Speedway in Tampa, Florida, has attracted a diversified list of guests including everyone from NASCAR’s Tony Stewart to some of drag racing’s best and even champion wrestler Hulk Hogan.
“Bubba The Love Sponge”® will appear in the VP Racing Fuels booth for two hours on Friday, January 18th and again on Saturday, January 19th. His Miller Lite Late Model will be on display all weekend.
The show, featuring just about everything imaginable in motorsports, will again fill more than 275,000 square fee of the Atlantic City Convention Center.
There is limited display space remaining for the show. Exhibitors wishing to participate in this hugely successful show should be in touch with Joe Pratt (Show Manager) at 609.888.3618 as soon as possible.
Again in 2008 there will be indoor auto racing taking place at the nearby Boardwalk Hall on January 18th and 19th.
Many hotels in the Atlantic City area, convenient to the show, will be offering special discount rates for rooms. Reservations must be made well in advance to insure availability at the special prices. Information on the show, indoor auto races and discount hotel rooms is available at www.aarn.com.

NEW DATES SET FOR MOTORSPORTS 2008 AND GAMBLER’S CLASSIC

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ March 5, 2007 . . . The 23rd edition of the popular mid-winter motorsports extravaganza, Motorsports 2008 presented by VP Racing Fuels, is set to return to Atlantic City’s plush Convention Center and the Gambler’s Classic Indoor Auto Racing events will return to the Boardwalk Hall conveniently located just a few blocks away.
Len Sammons, producer of the two highly successful events, has announced new dates for the show and indoor races, January 18-20th. In fact dates have been set for the next three years with the 2009 show scheduled for January 17-19th followed by January 16-18th for the 2010 events.
“We really feel that being able to move the show one week later is a big plus,” said Sammons. “The new dates will keep us from competing with the National Football League on Saturday night and it is good for racers since the dates will not conflict with the Chili Bowl in Tulsa, Oklahoma.”
Again in 2008 the Motorsports Race Car Show will fill 300,000 square feet of the Convention Center. Race enthusiasts will again be able to enjoy the Motorsports show by day and the auto racing events during the evening.
Indoor auto racing featuring the Three Quarter Midgets/600cc Micro Sprints will be the attraction at the Boardwalk Hall on January 18th and 19th.
“The indoor races in January were the most successful in the five year history of the events,” said Sammons. “And we were really excited about our first time efforts with the Motorsports show at the Convention Center. The show earned rave reviews from both vendors and attendees.”
Plans are being made to introduce some reduced price hotel room packages that will include transportation to the show and races.
Additional details regarding Motorsports 2008 and the Gambler’s Classic indoor auto racing events will be announced as they are finalized.
Information on exhibit rates, reserving show space and more will be available very shortly. Additional details are available by contacting show manager Joe Pratt at 609.888.3618.
