1/24th scale R/C racing @ Slane Street Speedway in Minersville, PA 4/24/07
This past Tuesday night had some awsome 2 and 3 abreast racing all night. The Slane Street Speedway held it's Pastry Pounder 100, and Elmer Kramer came away with the victory over second place finisher John Mills and third place finisher Mark Krammes. Last weeks winner, Mark Krammes had a very tough night, as he was battleing for his second win of the season, and started having troubles on lap 69 of the 100 lap event. It was then, Elmer Kramer took control, and never looked back. WILD action dotted the whole evening, as crashes and flips are a weekly part of racing at Slane Street. 1/24th. scale R/C racing on the carpeted oval will continue next Tuesday night with the running of the Mr. Donut Twin 50's.
