1/24th scale R/C racing @ Slane Street Speedway in Minersville, PA 5/15/07
With the sound of modifieds roaring in the distance from practice night at Big Diamond, the nearby Slane Street Speedway held its first anual "Whos your Daddy 100" and Schuylkill Haven racer Mark Krammes proved to all in attendance, he was the Daddy, as he dominated the evenings show. Mark, driving the Ivan Tokle number 8 ball machine, started in the third row, and was in command by lap 25 of the century grind. Although there were plenty of cautions throughout the evening, the worst mishap on lap 79 found John Mills and Elmer Kramer coming together in turns 3 and 4, catapaulting the number 91 of Kramer completely out of the ballpark. Mills continued on, while Kramer went pitside. The final 21 laps went non stop, with the victory going to Mark Krammes, followed by John Mills, and Elmer Kramer limping home to capture third. All spectators were impressed on just how fast and furious the racing is at Slane Street Speedway. Next Tuesday evening action finds the Speedway running the Spring fling twin 50's. Action begins with qualifying at 6 PM sharp, and feature action taking to the track @ 7PM
